In the 2nd of March 2010, Leandro Pires, 12 years-old, born in Cedaínhos, a little village of Mirandela, in the North of Portugal, died in the waters of the Tua's river.
Leandro committed suicide. He was a "bullying" victim.
Leandro's body was disappeared for 23 days. He was found dead by a fisherman in the bank of the river.
There was an investigation but the final result did not confirm neither suicide neither "bullying", but it did not deny it also. At the present day, no responsibilities were found out.

With this essay, nelson d'aires won the main prize of the Prémio Internacional de Fotojornalismo Estação Imagem/Mora 2011.
