Greenhouse Effect Music is gigantic on the Web. Fueled by the mega hit songs "Brandy" and 'A White Black Thang' G.e's band traffic is bigger than every other rock group. "It frustrates me when people say its a gimmick or just a fluke" says Clark Haggins guitarist "We got the two best and biggest songs there is...period !" Greenhouse effect were no small potatoes in their heyday of rocking music festivals in the 'South Bay' communities of Redondo Beach, Hermosa, and Torrance California long ago. "I love the Hermosa Saloon and people want us to play again and i love the South bay people n all... but its hard for me to get into the thought of playing little clubs again when we've been seen 100 million times n all over the World and downloaded so heavily,..me and drummer Greg Tarpley and Ted,..we wanna play the Loud Park Festival in Japan,..as we are woven into the culture over there with Naruto Shippuden." Will the new Greenhouse effect of 2009 still be the good ol' three piece or will they 'add musicians' ala green day. "Green day sucks,..i fucking hate them,..we are a trio forever" says higgins.

Not everyone there is has always been a fan of Higgins and his catchy music "Yeah,..theres some people out there,..especially back in the South Bay,..well i guess that they just don't believe in me or somethin' like that so i guess i'm gonna have to fuckin' 'prove' it to em' (Laughs) says Higgins..."I'm mean lets face it,..nobodys ever heard of the Mellon Quartet but EVERYBODYS FUCKIN' HEARD of me now ! Ofcourse Higgins and drummer Greg Tarpley from back up in Gardena Calif. have grande designs of performing as "G.e." again "Yeah,..we're so seen on the net and our band image is so unique and bizarre to people,..it totally goes well as it contridicts too with our catchy songwriting material,...we don't 'look' like the band that plays 'star' and 'ben is dead' but yes ITS TRUE ; THATS US !! We're one of a handful of bands left that has really melodic songcraft like mixing major and minor chords...i mean we're probobly the only band with actually 'better' songs than Nirvana ! ofcourse we write better sounding shit than metallica and green day,..they are not songwriters,..thats why their music sucks and just sounds like muzak (Laughs)... those bands are boring - AND THEY 'KNOW IT' TOO...i think though that i got big advantages over other writers because my life has sucked,..people hate me,..and or they don't understand me which is worse,..i use it all to fuel lyrics filled with real pain,..real experience - a real fucked life....
