When posed with how we as humans spend a lifetime, one thing that really sprung to mind was communication. In some shape or form, almost all human beings communicate from birth right up to the time we die. Whether it be direct communication through speech or more subtle levels of communication through facial expressions, gestures and body language, we are almost constantly communicating a message to those around us, often without even meaning to or realising we are doing so.
My stop frame animation aims to explore the various way we communicate with each other in todays world, highlighting the use of technology and social media as a huge tool in this proccess. Many realtionships we undertake today are engaged more through texting, e-mail and numerous social networks (facebook, twitter, myspace etc) than actual face to face interaction. I have employed the use a lot of commonly understood gestures and expressions to ,hopefully, communicate my message.
