1. Star Wars: Retold (by someone who hasn't seen it)
My friend Amanda had never seen a whole Star Wars film. When I asked her if she wanted to watch the original trilogy she said that she would, but that she already knew what happens. So I took out my voice recorder and asked her to start from the top.

I then created some very basic animation in Final Cut to go along with her narration.

WINNER of the 'George Lucas Selects' award in the 2009 Star Wars Fan Movie contest.

GUESS WHAT? YOU GUYS ARE WEIRDOS? you guys are straight weirdos!! I LOVE WEIRDOS!! so hmmm... thats ah pretty basic vanilla scratchbox rundown of the history...now are you guys preparing the rest? like anakin? you know the dead george lucas facial fill in kinda would be ah better looking face than that fat random guy who was originally the actor! have no IDEA who that was kickin with ben at the end of that ewok rager they threw!! but looks like han really was happy to find out the relationship between LUKE and LEA!! boy you guys should have stuffed james earl jones face in DARTHY'S SUIT... NAH actually the actor who plays the ANAKIN GUY now that would be some good stuff..

Not only is this the best wrap-up of the trilogy that I have ever come across, but the girl who's telling the story sounds adorable. I think that she should do a "movies in 60 seconds" type of blog. It would be great!
  • Patrick H. 10 months ago
    yeah, that's a cool idea …
  • Michael Parker 10 months ago
The only thing is she can't see the movies she is about to do
  • Ian Nicholson 10 months ago
No, she can't see the movies - or maybe she can only see bits of them....
  • alextronic 9 months ago
Typical exploiters!!!. Then the freshness of the idea would go away. This is a one-time thing. Don't exploit it.

    My favorite moment: F=MA

The amazing Star Wars reference aside, I'm pretty sure we need to see more explosions revealing physics formulae. :D

Great storytelling, hilarious animation. I agree with the above posters that you two should do a video-blog of this kind of stuff!

Lol look at the jump in views in one day. And well deserved! Hilarious and visually spot-on, I particularly love the random insertion of various pop culture analogies, e.g. Bon Jovi/Pink Floyd artwork.

    Excellent!
