Showing the signs of an extended drought and changing topography, the Calcasieu river is the lowest I've seen in my lifetime (45 years). This film shows the bridge at US Highway 190, west of Kinder Louisiana. I can easily forge across in several places, with the water never exceeding my waist line....something that was impossible 20 years ago.
