Hitachinaka Port, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan
This site had a shallow rotational landslide in young coastal sediment beneath a large natural slope. The headscarp of the landslide is a narrow zone along the base of the natural slope and the first lane of the adjacent roadway. The landslide toe is at the back and side of a port facility building. Four LiDAR scans were taken at the site. In the animation, rainbow-shade coloring indicates low elevations (red) to high elevations (blue).
