The documentary was filmed in the town of Maalula/Syria it has one of the oldest Christian churches in the Middle East and the wonderful history surrounding it.

Maalula is one of three towns in the world that still speaks Aramaic the language of christ and it is spoken by the Muslim in Maalula also.

    The fire was used to send a signal hundreds of years ago that the cross of Jesus where he was crucified was found. That day when it was found is a big holiday in Maalula and it is called "The Cross holiday" and it is celebrated on Sep 13.

    Really great shots. I would be interested in seeing the finished product. How far along are you in production? Half way through the trailer I asked myself.."How long is this thing?" and "I hope I get to hear a snippet of an interview".

    Thank you Peter, It is a long trailer, I have a lot on my plate and I keep putting it on hold, but I hope it will be finished this year.
