In this 60 second-film the Mexican artist Tania Candiani constructs word-by-word a visual performance by recuperating the title and first sentence of Clarice Lispector´s novel through hand-sewn balloons that the artists inflates and deflates. Derived from a larger series of works called "Tales and Other Nightmares" Candiani appropriates the opening line of stories written by authors such as Camus, Kundera and Duras, unfolding new narrative possibilities `blowed´by a shared origin.
