One week after meeting Jerry in person, we were coincidentally in Milwaukee visiting family at the same time. So we met up to slackline, film, and talk the day before Jerry's four year anniversary with slackline.
Jerry is an unique individual. His stoke for slackline is infectious and has largely impacted the slackline community as a whole. He is pushing the boundaries in this sport and the equipment being used, while making longlining and highlining much more accessible to the general public through his business, Balance Community. He currently holds the world record for longest slackline and longest highline ever walked and, more importantly, he is a kind and giving human being who found a spark in life that he sharing with others. I believe that sharing Jerry's story and stoke can make the world a nicer place to live in for at least a few people. Stay tuned for more from Jerry and others in my film HIGHLINERS, which we are filming this fall.
