I made the play 'Beste Dien' (Dear Dien) for my graduation at the Academy of Drama in Tilburg. The inspiration of the play were notes I found on the street, which were ripped to pieces. The notes consisted a goodbye letter from a man to his girlfriend... in 5 versions. Each time he wrote a version he didn't like it, torn it to pieces and wrote another one.

This inspired me to a story of a man who lived together with his girl he made out of cardboard. His quiet life is being disturbed when a real woman passes by. now he has to chose between real or fake.
