
CowTV visits CaJohn's Firey Foods and gets familiar with the world of spicy HEAT!

Do you have a "spice for life"? - consider yourself a "red hot lover"? - like to sweat when you eat food or think that eating food should be a "painful experience"? - huh? what? "sweat when you eat" - "painful experience"? Maybe you just like to feel the warm burn of spice added to your food. Oh, and then there's the ever-familiar "monkey butt" face (you know, that face you make when the heat from the peppers the night before is now "exiting" your body).
Take a look, because it's JANUARY - for the most part, IT'S COLD! In some areas, it's considered DAMN COLD! and then there's the plain old INSANELY COLD (Hello Chicago, Minnesota, Cleveland, Denver, and pretty much all of North Dakota.... are you paying attention? Buffalo - "home of the chicken wing" - does this look familiar?)!
Well, CowTV thought we'd try to heat things up for all of you - give you a reminder of warmer times - let you know that you can create your own thermal heat source. To accomplish our quest for heat, CowTV went to visit CaJohn's Firey Foods and talk to Mr. Heat Miser himself, John Hard. John is a true task-master making a huge variety of items to help all of us turn-up-the-heat where and when we want. NOTE - and it's not just the frigid cold spots in the U.S. who benefit from the spice of the pepper - Dallas, Houston, L.A., Phoenix, Hot-lanta - you know what we're talking about...
FYI - this is kind-of a long piece to watch, but it's worth the time - you'll be amazed at the variety of hot sauces, salsa's, BBQ sauces, and dry spice mixes that exist in just one firey facility. We've added a brief intermission about mid-way through so you can take break, use the bathroom, get another beer, or walk your dolphin.
Send us a picture of your best "monkey butt face" - we'll post a few and the ones we post we'll send you a couple bottles of liquid heat to use on your next batch of wings, chili, eggs, or whatever you put a dash or twelve on. Remember... it's all good!
