This high def video shot using my Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder, shows how we dismantled our PVC pipe mega tree. Most people that build mega trees have to re-string them every year. My tree has 13,000 LEDs, so I devised a way to build the tree using vertical PVC couplers that allow me to separate the top half from the bottom half, and gently lower it with a cherry picker, now the tree will be half height, and it just rolls into the garage on a platform. Next year we reverse the steps, and it's only 3 minutes to raise the tree back up, instead of all day to re-string it like other folks do.
