Thanks! It was fun to get out shoot in the storm & I really got into it and overshot it, so I had a lot to chose from.

Very nice! What did you use to protect the T3i/600 from the rain?
  • Joshua Davidsburg plus 5 months ago
I bought a really cheap rain cover from ritz camera. $6. It's basically an open ended plastic back with a draw string on one side. I bought it the day before the storm.

I'm not going to lie- I was really nervous shooting in it, because the camera isn't weatherproof. It also made it difficult to focus at times.

Very nice. Tells the story well.

I went the opposite route you mention in your DSLRnews story -> with mobility limited by the storm for a couple of days (in central NJ) and coming from a stills background I went for the visual:

Nice work! thanks for sharing. If I may, what pre set on Mojo did you use, did you change anything?
  • Joshua Davidsburg plus 5 months ago
Thanks! I actually didn't use the presets in mojo- I just used the standard setting then played around with it until I got the colors I liked (I bleached & cooled the beginning and saturated and warmed the end, with a few more tweaks). I copied and pasted the effects to each of the shots then played around with them until they matched.

It's the first time I used mojo with FCPX and I actually couldn't find the presets.
