    I dont believe @ all in gestures interfaces... using so many muscles/energy for some info will never beat the nerve-efficiency of mouse&keyboard interface...

    Totally agree. It's kind of a fad until they find better ways to use touch interfaces.

    I think these tables project the image up, and have a camera that sees fingers, which might make it easier to register movements

    For sure a new generation of nerve-based interface (like spine-electro-sensors or whatever) would definitely be the successful thing.

    This is quite fascinating. It very much reminds me of a Minority Report-type interface. I think this touch paradigm, couple with voice recognition programs, will eventually start to replace the keyboard and mouse as it becomes more intuitive to use. Apple's Siri service is a good example of how touch and voice can remove the need for a traditional user interface.
