No question it's a great cam, but in low light conditions it's knocked sideways by the new 5D2, which beggars the question: just what does Canon have up their sleeve for the next batch of dedicated vid cams?

imagine what will Canon video department reply to their DSLR department soon? I just cannot imagine the things that will pop out of the horizon soon....

Canon xha1 is and always will be an indy film makers best friend. 10 years down the line it will still shoot footage that will look amazing! Of course better cameras are being made all the time, but the xh a1 in my books is top. But low light Can be very tedious indeed :(

I have the xha1, and I love it! I think the footage here looks great. There are so many parameters that you can tweak to make the camera film anything!
