This first episode starts with Cheryl in the town where she grew up in Holland and shows how she started snowboarding in a country with no mountains and little snow. We then follow her to Colorado as she gets back on the snow and ready for an epic winter ahead.

About Open Air:
Cheryl was followed for six months doing what makes her the most driven, motivated, rewarded – filming.
Most of the winter was spent traveling around Europe and the US in their two person crew, Cheryl and her filmer John Roderick, allowing Cheryl the freedom to push herself in whatever way she wanted. The results will unfold over five short films, released monthly from September 1st 2011.
