In our inaugural film, we visit the Breuckelen Distilling Company, the first gin distiller in Brooklyn since prohibition. Founder Brad Estabrooke talks about starting from nothing and the imperfect process of perfecting a craft. His experience bears a lesson for us all: knowing you could fail brings you that much closer to success.

director-producer KEEF
director of photography JOSHUA KRASZEWSKI
editor MATT SHAPIRO
title design MANDY BROWN
music ROMAN ZEITLIN
sound recordist ROBERT ALBRECHT
re-recording mixer NICHOLAS MONTGOMERY

This was a well-crafted video and I found it quite interesting (as well as your other "Knives" short). Hmmm...distilling booze for a living; sounds okay to me! Two things I thought were missing from the story is how much of an investment did he have to make to get started....didn't look cheap. He also made reference to "we" a lot, but I didn't see shots of anyone else working. Nice soundtrack. But again, great job and thank you for posting.

Again, beautiful film. The Whiskey that he makes is one of my favorites. A very subtle hint of vanilla in it. MMMMM!

really good video, but from a critique standpoint, I didn't like the way you filmed the interview, you left no headroom, and it makes the shot seem cramped
