We filmed this short documentary for the Lance Armstrong Foundation in five countries over 23 days. With our longtime friends at the LAF, we set out to examine how cancer is perceived in five countries: Mexico, Japan, India, South Africa and Italy. This film was created as part of a larger effort by the LAF to understand attitudes toward cancer across the world and to focus on what can be done internationally to reduce the stigma surrounding the disease. The film debuted online and was distributed at the 2008 Clinton Global Initiative, when Lance Armstrong appeared with Bill Clinton and Mayor Michael Bloomberg to launch the Global Cancer Initiative.
