after three weeks of touring (all alone) in europe as taperecorder, i made my way to scotland and hooked up with the golden hour. they are a group of edinburgh based writers who tour randomly with different musicians. for this tour they were bringing along a 3 piece folk band and me (the dark horse of the tour playing electronic squelchy sounds). we played all these lovely, small, cozy, intimate venues around the u.k. the route was: edinburgh - sheffield - bristol - brighton - london (hackney) - london (camden) - newcastle. it was so goddamn fun and this little video diary does not come close to doing it justice. thanks to jane, hailley, jason, ryan, jenn, and jed for all the fun! they made me feel part of the family. we also met a bunch of lovely people everywhere we went. shit was just really really fun. the song is 'deep cove' by taperecorder.
