Didn't you just install the TC spindle gussets and after market UCA last week or so?

yes I used a little slight of hand... or cleaver foreshadowing... you decide.

The gussets went on the same time as the long travel but since I was not ready with all the video I showed as the final picture, Metal Tech's rig so as not to give away the ending on this one.

I have another tech tip coming out from this session as well... Still going through the 12 hours of video and editing it down to a couple of minutes of interesting stuff...

Glad you found this one... I think the front end turned out better than the video... I need to start experimenting with lighting... the shop is not so well light.

Ya, a light would have been nice. A cheap can light with 5500-6500k CFL and a white cloth cover make for good cheap lighting....I use that sometime at home and work pretty good. Just can't forget to White Balance.
