
Golden Gate Bridge via Google Street View

This was a little project I worked on last year, which involved downloading all the Google street-view tiles along a path, stitching them together into a panorama, and then compiling it as a video.
As you can see, the results are pretty interesting!
Tools used: Ruby for scripting the tile downloads, ImageMagick for stitching the tiles into panoramic images, and ffmpeg for converting the image frames into a video.
