Jonathan Reed (1981, Chicago) creates traditional dramatic narrative work that combines live action and motion graphics. His work has screened in many major American cities, including, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and Columbus, OH. His award winning experimental film piece, "Lost Generation" (01:45), has screened in film festivals across the world, and was selected as the Best Film at the Forster Film Festival in Australia. The short has gone onto garner over 15 million online views.
He has worked as a writer and motion graphics artist on several commercial projects for international brands like Nestle, Microsoft and Lending Tree.
Jonathan is currently pursuing a B.A. in filmmaking at Columbia College Chicago after having received his B.A. in political science from the University of Georgia.
