My entry into the 2011 48 Hour Film Project (San Jose), and WINNER of the BEST ENSEMBLE ACTING award, as well as BEST ACTRESS AWARD for Janine Burgener!

This competition takes place over 48 hours in which teams are required to make a short film from scratch using a randomly selected film genre, as well as a line of dialogue, character, and prop.

The genre given to me was "Film de Femme". This genre was invented by the 48 Hour Film Project; they explain it best. "A Film de Femme is a film featuring one or more strong female characters."

The other required elements were:

Character: Ian or Ilene Jeffers (a recycling expert)
Prop: A chair
Line of Dialogue: "Give me some kind of sign."

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Filmed on a Canon 7D
