This is a video of our hike on the West Coast Trail as a group of 6, in 5 days. Bringing a new dlsr (bought it the night before we left) on the WCT was a bit of a ridiculous idea, but very much worth it. Because of the rain, battery life and amount of hiking we had to complete per day, taking footage continuously wasn't plausible. I am far from accustomed to doing this much documentation of a hiking trip, and can't even really say I knew what I was doing. Therefore, this isn't the most accurate capture of the West Coast Trail and lacks the diversity of terrain we covered. However, the trip was nothing short of an awesome experience and is one of the most memorable hikes I've completed to date. Its completion is one more check on the bucket list! :)
(The footage with me in it is credited to Christine Zawadzki. Of course, mad love and respect for the people featured here: Gilbert, Christine, Andrew, Kate and Anna.)
Thanks for watching, cheers!
