This past week the Congressional black caucus refused to condemn Representative Andre Carson (D) for his racist remarks thrown at the Tea Party movement. Representative Andre Carson (D-IN) is on record of saying “Some of these folks in Congress right now would love to see us as second-class citizens. Some of them in Congress right now with this Tea Party movement would love to see you and me … hanging on a tree.”
This sparked outrage that Citizens and residents of America are falsely being portrayed as bigots and 1950 style KKK. The Tea Party Fort Lauderdale, the longest running Tea Party in America, are made up of Hispanics, Asians, Black, White, Christians, Jews, and many others from all over the world.
This weekend in Florida, the Fort Lauderdale Tea Party- the longest running Tea Party group in the country- held a press conference to voice their opposition to members of the Black Congressional Caucus and asked that they step down from their positions.
The following video is of one Member who had a few words to tell Congressman Allen West if he were there present!
