This is just a test of lenses I have available to me.
Sigma 18-50mm 2.8-4.5 DC OS HSM
Yashica ML 50mm 1.9
Albinar-ADG MC 80-200mm 4.5-5.6 Macro Telephoto
The last two are lenses I got when I purchased my Yashica 35mm FX-3 film camera in the 1980's when I was a teenager.
Considering budgets are tight I bought cheap Fotodiox CY-EOS adapters and attached the lenses to my Canon 60D and T2i.
This video was made simply for myself as a way to compare each lens I own. I'm planning on purchasing more Yashica Contax lenses since they are producing nice results for video at relatively low prices.
My next lens is another Yashica, a 135mm YUS 2.8 that I pick up on Ebay for $1! No kidding.
So you can see how this could be a great way for a budget filmaker to getting into a set of prime lenses and at least start learning how to use them.
I must say, the Albinar is some weird brand that I don't know anything about and is likely just some cheap third party manufacture who made stuff for the OEM but I am pleasantly surprised with the results.
This video has basic color correction applied and slight sharpening in one or two of the clips.
