This was part of Making Tracks Open Mic in the Lost Picture Show (lostpictureshow.org) cinema tent at Shambala Festival. We recuited several festival goers to re-score some short films in front of a live audience, and Carla MacKinnon's 'Ballad of a Broken Vow' was one of them. Other films were Ben Rix's 'If Only', Paul Gillespie & Angel Villadiego's 'Haiku' and Max Lincoln's 'The Chair'.

These two guys on guitar and bass improvised a score to the film, which they hadn't actually seen before. This is otherwise known as a 'blind score'.
