I'd been wanting to interview Tammy for a while. She's an interesting conversationalist, jumping around within sentences in a way that keeps you running along trying to keep up with her. I'm not sure what a poet talks like, if a poet can be said to talk in any particular way, but I imagine they should sound like her. Over the last several years, she's created a line called Poetry: Intimate Ritual, which is amazing stuff. Its bath care and body products replicate her childhood experience and memories in a way other people can share in just as personally. And it all smells fantastic, which is my ultimate barometer.
