The Refreshment Room was the setting for the 1946 film, Brief Encounter. It has been faithfully refurbished to reflect the set of the film and music from the 1940s is played into the cafe every day.

The music for this video is Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2, played by the man himself. It is the theme music to Brief Encounter.
