Guided by Operation Migration's ultra lights, a flock of 7 completed their journey from Wisconsin 2 days after the Art For the Sky Whooping Crane event. Filling the living painting of the highly endangered bird with 1000 human heartbeats was a way to "feed" the spirit of the of the Whooping Crane, hopefully strengthening what scientists call the animal's "morphogenetic field."
