The performance ASA is a co-production between EDNO and the dance company Derida Dance. It is the first Bulgarian project for contemporary dance supported by the European Commission’s Culture Programme and is part of the project "Circle: connecting dance practices in Europe". АSA is opening two international festivals for contemporary dance: Sofia Dance Week 2011 and the AURA 21 International Dance Festival in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The abbreviation ASA stands for “Аverage Speed of Answer”. The concept and choreography are by Jivko Jeliazkov. The participants in the project were selected during a series of creative workshops in Budapest, Kaunas and Sofia. The six participants – who are from Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania and South Korea – are extremely different in terms of their physiques, movement techniques and approaches to dance, which is part of the work’s concept. ASA passes through the various dimensions of our life – from physical, grounded awareness to abstract, cosmic consciousness. What do the mountains of information we absorb daily turn into, and what are the ways of articulating them? The performance traces the new challenges facing humanity’s ability to recognize its own intuitiveness in the era of the information society.

ASA is part of the project "Circle: connecting dance practices in Europe", in collaboration with "Probiotic for Contemporary Dance in Bulgaria". The project is financed by the Culture Programme of the European Commission, the America for Bulgaria Foundation, the Sofia Municipality and the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture. The leading partner is EDNO, in co-production with Derida Dance, Aura Dance Theatre (Lithuania) and Pro Progressione Tanacsabo (Hungary).

Спектакълът ASA е копродукция между ЕДНО и танцовата компания Derida Dance. Това е първият български проект за съвременен танц, подкрепен от Програма „Култура” на Европейската комисия и е част от проекта "Circle: connecting dance practices in Europe". АSA открива два международни фестивала за съвременен танц- Sofia Dance Week 2011 и AURA 21 Iternational Dance Festival в Каунас, Литва.
Абревиатурата ASA означава Аverage Speed of Answer или средна скорост на отговор. Концепцията и хореографията са на Живко Желязков. Участниците в проекта са избрани на последователно проведени творчески работилници в Будапеща, Каунас и София. Шестимата изпълнители - от България, Унгария, Литва и Южна Корея – са изключително различни като физика, постановка на движение и подход към танца, което е част от концепцията. ASA преминава през различните измерения на живота ни - от физическото земно осъзнаване до абстрактното космическо съзнание. В какво се превръщат планините от информация, които усвояваме ежедневно и какви са начините за тяхната артикулация? Представлението изследва новите предизвикателства пред способността на човека да опознава собствената си интуитивност в епохата на информационното общество.

Спектакълът ASA е част от проекта "Circle: connecting dance practices in Europe" в колаборация с "Probiotic for the Contemporary dance in Bulgaria". Проектът е финансиран от Програма Култура на Европейската Комисия, фондация "Америка за България", Столична община и Министерство на Културата на Република България.
