This uses the knight vs. goblin setup from the Kineme3D examples... I popped it inside of a different version of something similar to the particle feedback renders of my last few posts. The "loop" was achieved through placing a a particle cluster inside of replicate in space, and rotating everything in a 3d transform correctly. The initial particle cluster is also in it's own 3d transform. The blend mode for the particles is toggled back and forth between over, blend, and alpha(alpha is enabled with Kineme GL Tools), to achieve the different coloration as they "grow".
Once I had the loop, it seemed like a real ideal frame for something, so I popped in the knight vs goblin Kineme3D example, changed the rotations so that it would look like everything is happening from overhead, and changed the frame rates of the characters.
This was rendered in Quartz Crystal at 32x motion blur, no antialiasing.
