Quergänge is an international exhibition project of interactive audio visual installations and objects. On the two floors of Gallery M the exhibition showcases the work of artists from New Zealand, South Korea, Ireland, France and Gemany. The exhibition can permanantly be changed, even passerby influence the happenings inside the gallery and visitors can create their own audio-visual works - touching and participating requested.
The roomfilling audio sculpture by Lisa Premke consists of more than 400 speakers and reflects the soundscape inside and outside the gallery. Webcams and motion sensors help to transfer and distort the events infront of the gallery into a multi monitor videoinstallation by Dylan Bakker and VJ Cyper in the groundfloor windows.
Brian Smith introduces an interactive audio-visual soundtable, whith which visitors can individually change and recreate melody, rhythm and projected images through moving objects on the table. On the top floor Yannik Salziger-Chatain constructs a laser and mirror installation, Andi Zant shows his mysterious "Black Box". All mountings and furnishing for Quergänge is designed and build by the sculptor and furniture designer Isaac Han.
