(This video is a shorter version of the Hope for Haiti video)

Gedeon and Leo are members of the Special Olympics soccer team in Haiti, preparing to compete in the 2011 World Games in Athens. Both were deeply affected by the earthquake and struggled to overcome their losses in a society where intellectually disabled children are discarded.

By playing soccer both in Special Olympics and at their school, the children are able to prove to their community and themselves that they are capable of more.

Shot and produced by Shannon Sanders and Megan Garner with two Panasonic HMC 150s, a Canon 5D Mark II, Sennheiser shotgun and wireless lavalier microphones. Video was produced for use by Special Olympics and can be found on their website as well.
