On September 11th, 2001, when the South Tower collapsed, it destroyed the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Though no one was in the building at the time of the collapse, the parishioners continue to mourn the loss of their tiny house of worship. 10 years later, the church has yet to rebuild.
