Three years ago Kevin Maxwell had a heart attack. Surviving the heart attack, his cardiologist gave him a diagnosis of peripheral artery disease and eight to ten months to live. Kevin opted for stem cell therapy in Thailand rather than wait for the end. In December 2008 after seeing his heart's ejection fraction slip a bit he chose to come to China for a second round of stem cell therapy.
This second round, delivered at Bethune International Peace Hospital in Shijiazhuang, included delivery of umbilical cord stem cells directly into the heart via catheter. It also included two transplants of umbilical cord blood stem cells via IV.
Kevin is also a Type 1 diabetic and saw a reduction in his insulin requirements immediately following injections.
Safe adult stem cell therapy is available today.
