On Thursday July 7, 2011, The L.A. Urban Rangers lead hikes over the unique topography of Bunker Hill to discover the varied redevelopment strata of Downtown L.A.’s primary geologic feature. Participants traversed corporate meadows, ascended to high-altitude easements, located air rights, and trekked through public-private monuments—all in search of L.A.’s elusive civic heart.
