Mick Bolton (piano/vocal), with Phil Little (drums) and Matt Novis (bass) playing at the Kings Head sessions in Battle, East Sussex, UK in May 2011. This was our first gig as a three-piece. We play mostly my own original material, but here we are performing the Steve Winwood song 'I'm A Man'. Phil and I first met up in 1972 when he auditioned for a band I was playing with. After two different musical journeys through the decades we met up again earlier this year. I toured and recorded with the UK rock band Mott The Hoople in 1973 - and in the eighties with Dexys Midnight Runners. Phil used to play with one of my favourite guitarists - Mickey Jones of the Welsh rock band Man.
