A photo session with a model, Lea, to test out the new Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS II lens. But instead of just photos of Lea, I decided to make this a "moving portrait" of her.

We shot this in Times Square one evening in September, using only the flood of light from the billboards.

The first section is just with the 300mm f/2.8L IS II
With the second section (where you can see the cars), I added the Canon 1.4x III extender to turn this into an impressive 420mm f4 lens.

All sections were shot with the lens wide open.

And yes, it's a "holy macaroni!" kind of impressive a lens.
