I'd planned a simple stills dance shoot in the krumble empire studio but it turned into something else.
the flying dancer is the wonderful Daisy Nicholson-Lailey.
when I explained to Daisy that in order to do what I wanted to do she'd have to leap into the air 500 times she didn't turn a hair - and proceeded, over the next two hours, to jump into the air 500 times ...
(and yes I know I did move a chair and nudge the bloody tripod halfway through)
music: piano transcription of Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Flight of the Bumblebee' played in a 1933 recording by Vladimir Horowitz.
