This first-year composition student composed a remix (shown with permission, of course), which, in this particular case, created a nice mashup between Hollywood’s portrayal of the hacking community versus the very active, but different hacking community in reality. I’ve edited this student’s remix, showcasing how the remix plays up the stereotypes in a satirical fashion, aligning with the student’s original rhetorical strategies used in a commentary written in the same vein as the remix.
