This is a short piece I did for the actress's showreel (Muirrean Ryan). It's a very rough production as it was a last minute thing, filmed in 45 mins, three takes, a boom mic stuck to a broom pole, and a home made steady-cam kit (which didn't really work so we did one take hand held). Hence the audio isn't great at points and the camera is a bit unbalanced on occasion.
None the less I feel some of the shots really come off and its kind of a homage to guerilla filming!
The monologue is an excerpt from Sean O'Casey's 'The Plough and the Stars'.
