*VIDEO*
(Rockport, WA) On Thursday, January 15, 2009, my brother Jeff and I traveled to Rockport to see the bald eagles that winter along the Skagit River. Several hundred eagles live along the banks of a roughly ten-mile stretch of river. They often feast on dying salmon.
Of course, Jeff and I brought along our cameras. He mostly shot stills. I shot only video. Later, I used the GarageBand application on my MacBook Pro to create a piece of music for this effort.
In addition to bald eagles, this video also includes shots of a blue heron, ducks, snow-capped mountains, a barn, a logging truck, fishermen in a boat, and photographers.
*note: The first few scenes in this video were shot while we were en route to Rockport. We were between Arlington and Darrington, and the sunrise was beautiful.
