The Trackside Tavern in Decatur, GA burned on 1/20/2009. The owner, Doc Al, always flew a US flag over the front door. At a fundraiser for the staff at The Corner Pub, some Decatur firemen who put out the fire (saving priceless memorabilia) presented a new flag to Doc Al, and offered to install it after Trackside was rebuilt. As promised, the DFD raised a new flag on the Re-welcoming weekend. It speaks volumes about the City of Decatur.
