Inspired by Jim Jarmusch, this anthology short feature follows the lives of various London residents after midnight in The Big Smoke, as they experience the many peculiarities of the city after hours.
From a lost Japanese man wandering the streets trying to find his way home, to two friends after a party who find themselves in a rather odd predicament.
FISH, and SLEEPING BOB, are two segments of what WAS to be a 4 segment independent feature film. As the other directors never got round to their segments, the project eventually fell through, so just to do something with the other two shorts, which work mostly on their own even if missing some lining elements. Temp music track is from Night on Earth, hence the disclaimer, but hey, it was the inspiration so just went with it.
Each segment was shot mostly in realtime, starting from roughly 30mins before midnight. Sleeping Bob was all done in one night
Segments directed by Tony Sebastian Ukpo, and Maria Bloom.
Starring Junichi Kajioka, Haruka Abe, Gerardine Coyne and Maria Hodson
Additional Music by Slow Walk (Segment "Fish")
Music from "Night on Earth" by Jim Jarmusch, by Tom Waits
