A special exhibition held in October 7th-November 18th, 2008 at Art Center Nabi. It aimed for new experience and communication with Hangul (the Korean character) and new media.
▲The section shows aesthetic approaches of Hangul- which comprises works that show typography and visualization of Hangul. Included are signboard abstracted installation that utilized moving Hangul fonts by Seung Kwan No, a co-project by Won Koh and Jihoon Byun which incorporated concrete poetry and interactive media art.
▲ Sound art works that attempt rhythmical aspects of Hangul are on view at the section.
▲ The section shows works of interactive storytelling and communication that emphasize semantic appearances of Hangul. Included are works by Lisa Lee trying new approaches in storytelling through daily activities such as using chopsticks and hair brushing.
