Wildwood High School (NJ) senior Matt Schiff exploded for a career-high 37 points, including the 1,000th of his career, to lead the Warriors to a wild 75-74 victory over Gloucester Tuesday night.
Needing 20 points to become the 17th boys basketball player in school history to reach 1,000, Schiff scored exactly 20 in the first half, getting his 999th and 1,000th points on a pair of free throws with less than two minutes to play in the second quarter.
