    Kilian is insane! lol

at 3:22 how were u able to follow this guy and keep your shot?!

Unbelievable footage, too much avalanche sfx.

    Keep up the great work!
  • Hi there !

I am just simply running behind him at 3:22 holding the 7D in one hand. It is place on a portable steady cam.

First, thanks for inspiring to be creative w/my 7d.
Second, what hardware was involved? Glidecam/Merlin, a crane in some shots?
Third and last, what is your workflow for the slow mo sequences?

Beautifully done. I hope to hear back from you!
  • Hello,

It is a glidecam HD 2000 and an

Thank you for the info. Once again, beautifully done. Very inspiring to me to push on.

Are you keeping your slow motion workflow w/in your editing program and/or using a 3rd party plug in?
Also, one area I am confused in with shutter speed and shooting in 60fps...I read to shoot at double the mode, so 60fps, shutter is at 125'ish, 160, but I also read that some are bumped up to the thousands shutter speed---care to share any insight on this? Thank you

Wow. A 7D and a glidecam 2000? That's proof that it's the operator not the equipment that is the most important part of shooting. Spectacular shots.

the quality is superb. The guy has no sense of danger or maybe he has and his skills compensate because it looks so simple when done by him. I couldn't take my eyes from the screen... no blinking also.

of course 7D and a glidecam is really important,
but yoU sure is a good portable powerful engine
    to handle all that,
    as you describe yourself:
