This was day 5 on our California Shark Adventure. We went out in search of mako and blue sharks in the open ocean. We went out looking for them on day 2 and got skunked but we had 2 days scheduled for them, just in case that happened, and we scored big. We found 3 mako sharks and spent an EPIC day at sea. They stayed with us for 2 1/2 hours and we finally had to leave them because the sun went down, and we did not bring any dive lights with us. So we reluctantly said goodbye to our toothy friends.
