Now I do time lapse and I guess I should upload one of mine. Trouble is mine replay quite fast where-as yours have a slower, much more meaningful speed.

What frame rate do yours play back at?

By the way, all I can say is awesome and thanks.
  • Vicente Sahuc 9 months ago
I wanted the cloud moving quite slowly so the frame rate was between 1 fps to 1 frame each 4 sec, depending of the speed of the clouds. Sometimes the clouds were so slow that I was around 1 frame each 10 sec.
  • Vicente Sahuc 9 months ago
And by the way, thanks to you!
  •
  • Can you tell how you did this? Thanks, very nice
  • Vicente Sahuc 9 months ago
    Hi david,
Was just explainig to Simon about the frame rate, then a lot of contrast, some desaturation, then a spoon of color by zone, and the soup is ready...
    Thank you David
    Best!
  • Catie Atkinson 9 months ago
So does that mean you took photos once every 4 to 10 seconds and then edited them together in a video editor (after desaturation etc)?
Beautiful Piece by the way :)

Brilliantly cinematic. The soundtrack works so well with the time-lapse footage. Out of interest, what camera did you use? I take it you batch processed all the frames to get the colouring?
  • Vicente Sahuc 9 months ago
canon DS MIII, 17-40 mm, but could have been whatever camera with sensor at least 1080x1920 with wild angle on it.

This is quite phenonmenal i really think this is the best bit of photo cinematic work that has been produced in some white.. it really is outstanding.

The moving clouds and the way you have god a still object in each is amazing.

You really should try sell this as an advert to some one.
